Piping Plovers

Students learned about the Piping Plovers, Monty and Rose, that nested on Chicago's Montrose Beach at our December 12th meetup.
Students worked together to collect eggs hidden around the library. Each egg contained a puzzle piece, which the kids worked as a team to put together.
Miss Diana read a book about Monty and Rose and then led in a bird feeder building activity, which students got to bring home.
